Within the Visual Novel community, I believe CG typically refers to a non-sprite graphic like the scene sitting with Natsuki on the floor or reading with Yuri. As opposed to normal gameplay where there are just sprites on a background.
The first answer is the definition for CGI, not CG. The rest of the links state CG to stand for either "Colour Graphics" or "Computer Graphics" and, as I said in the original post which you must not have read, I didn't think "Computer Graphics" could be correct.

Recommended stats for CG? Yo fellow irongods, im looking to complete sote on the weekend and wanna get into CG, currently I have 75/88/75 melee stats and 78 range 81 mage. What stats would you recommend to have a good shot at CG?
Im grinding cg for two bowfas (extra one for my gim friend). Treat it like a marathon and not a sprint. Put in your daily numbers and know that every day you get closer. Extra money + shards will be helpful for construction/smithing grind and making crystal armor last longer. Im about 380 kc with 1 enh and going for second and i definitely relate.

Both drop the enhanced crystal seed but it's far more common from CG. In CG you have less prep time and the bosses mechanics are slightly different, more brutal, than in regular Gauntlet.
